Electrical Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will own HV grid connection projects from inception to energisation, focusing on cross-functional delivery and commercial performance. You’ll work with clients, DNOs, contractors and internal teams to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget project outcomes that support the UK energy transition. You’ll lead delivery across subcontractors and suppliers, balancing technical rigor with practical leadership in a hybrid Bristol/Newark settings. This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants genuine ownership and impact in renewable energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of HV and grid connection projects up to 132kV
• Manage projects from pre-construction through to energisation
• Liaise with DNOs, clients, contractors and internal delivery teams
• Control project costs, programmes, risks and commercial performance
• Lead site delivery teams to achieve milestones safely and efficiently
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high quality standards
• Support renewable energy and power infrastructure projects essential to the UK’s energy transition

Key requirements

• Experience delivering HV, grid connection or power infrastructure projects with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of project delivery, commercial management and stakeholder engagement
• Experience working with DNOs, ICPs, utilities or electrical contractors
• Confidence to own multiple projects and drive them to completion
• Passion for delivering critical infrastructure supporting the UK’s energy transition
• Experience in the Solar Energy space in particular
