Residential Property Partner (remote/hybrid)

The role centers on scaling the firm’s strongest revenue driver—residential conveyancing—while maintaining excellent service and work-life balance. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the residential property team, coordinating remote work with strategic in-office sessions
• Manage a small caseload of complex, high-value residential matters (freehold/leasehold, transfers, re-mortgages, lease extensions)
• Build and deepen trusted client relationships to support growth and retention
• Drive business development and strategic growth of the department as a core firm priority
• Lead remotely with oversight of strategy, development, and client engagement while visiting the Brighton office for team activities
• Support implementation of technology-enabled systems to facilitate effective remote leadership

Key requirements

• 8+ PQE in Residential Property
• Experience managing a team at Head of Residential Property or Conveyancing Partner level
• Dynamic, personable, commercially astute
• Proven track record with high-value client relationships
• Willingness to lead the department with remote work and periodic office visits
• Based near Brighton or able to relocate within reasonable distance for fortnightly visits
