Group Finance Analyst

Overview

In this role you support the Financial Reporting team to deliver accurate consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries. You will partner with regional teams and external auditors to drive timely reporting in a fast-paced environment. The position combines technical accounting with process improvement, enabling you to influence Group-wide reporting while upholding integrity and quality. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance reporting processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present consolidated board packs and perform performance analysis with regional finance teams
• Support production and audit of the Group’s external statutory accounts and ensure timely filing
• Partner with regional teams and external auditors to coordinate audits and collect information
• Support continuous improvement projects in financial reporting processes
• Provide technical accounting input to divisional and regional teams and assist with policy adherence
• Assist with loan drawdown/repayment reconciliation and management accounts variance analysis
• Drive process improvements across the financial reporting lifecycle
• Support preparation of information required for Group submissions and stakeholder communication

Key requirements

• ACCA/ACA or equivalent international qualification
• Experience preparing or reviewing IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102 financial statements
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Experience with external auditors
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• High attention to detail and ability to challenge processes and implement change
