Overview
In this role you will join a leading Hertfordshire firm to handle corporate matters for owner-managed businesses, large organisations, and private clients, with a focus on healthcare, charities and private wealth. You will lead transactional work, collaborate with partners on high‑value matters, and contribute to the firm’s expansion while benefiting from a warm, supportive culture. The work spans mergers and acquisitions, financing, governance, and bespoke corporate arrangements, offering meaningful impact across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities
- Lead on transactional corporate work and manage matters with partner oversight
- Contribute to mergers and acquisitions, secured financing arrangements, and share schemes
- Prepare and negotiate articles of association and shareholder agreements/investments
- Handle share buy backs and other corporate governance tasks
- Engage with a diverse client base including owner-managed businesses, banks, and high net worth individuals
- Support departmental growth and expansion through proactive handling of complex, high-value matters
Key requirements
- PQE 5+
- experience in corporate work including M&A, financing, governance and shareholder arrangements
