Overview

As Product & Technology Communications Manager at Cohere, you’ll shape how enterprises, developers, and the broader ecosystem understand Cohere’s technology and product strategy. You will partner with product, research, engineering, and GTM teams to craft clear, high-impact messaging and materials. You’ll lead product-launch communications and translate complex AI concepts for diverse audiences, elevating Cohere’s technical credibility. Responsibilities

• Develop product and technology communications strategies aligned with business goals and roadmap
• Collaborate with product, engineering, research, and modeling leads to craft messaging and materials
• Lead product-launch communications including messaging frameworks, FAQs, press releases, and executive talking points
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear content for customers, partners, analysts, and media
• Collaborate with corporate communications to amplify technical leadership and product momentum
• Work with marketing to ensure consistency across product marketing, developer content, and external communications
• Support thought leadership for product, research, and modeling executives
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to refine messaging for technical audiences
• Prepare and support crisis communications related to product, security, or technical incidents

Key requirements

• 5–7 years in product and technology communications or technical content in AI, enterprise software, or developer-focused environments
• Exceptional writing with ability to simplify complex topics without losing nuance
• Experience partnering with product and engineering leaders and acting as a trusted advisor
• Understanding of enterprise AI, ML, or developer ecosystems
• Strong organization, project management, and bias for action
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments
• Experience with product launches, technical content development, or developer-focused communications
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships for clarity and alignment
