Overview

As Senior Game Developer at Voodoo, you will help deliver fun, innovative features for Paper.io 2 within a high-performing Live Studio. You’ll contribute to UI, animation, and core gameplay improvements, shaping game design and responding to player feedback. You’ll work with a senior, multidisciplinary team to impact the product daily and entertain millions of players worldwide. This is a hands-on role that blends creativity with technical excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop client-facing features focusing on UI, animations and polish
• Improve core gameplay systems and performance
• Create and integrate new meta features
• Refine and extend existing game systems
• Flesh out game design details, oversee testing, and iterate based on player feedback

Key requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in C# and Unity
• Proven track record in successful mobile game development
• Expertise in a specialized area (animation, particle systems, shaders, architecture, performance optimization or networking) is a major plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization and performance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
