Overview

As a Content Designer in IRIS Academy, you will create clear, practical self-paced learning content for IRIS software products. You’ll translate complex product info and customer workflows into engaging courses, scripts, and assessments, collaborating with experts to ensure accuracy and usefulness. Your work enables thousands of learners to succeed with IRIS software and contributes to scalable, standards-based learning. This role offers the chance to shape how customers learn at scale and to experiment with AI-assisted content creation in a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build self-paced online learning content for IRIS software products
• Translate technical product information and workflows into structured learning with clear outcomes
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, product specialists and stakeholders to understand needs
• Create courses, instructional copy, audio/video scripts, media assets and assessments
• Maintain content accuracy as products evolve and incorporate learner feedback
• Contribute to shared learning standards and explore AI-assisted workflows

Key requirements

• Experience creating digital learning, training, or customer education content
• Ability to explain software or technical processes in a simple, engaging way
• Strong written communication to make complex information clear
• Experience working with customers or internal experts to identify needs and outcomes
• Proactive questioning, curiosity about product details and learner outcomes
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to receive feedback and iterate
• Background in digital/e-learning, instructional design, SaaS customer education or related fields (preferred)
• Experience with stakeholder collaboration across teams (preferred)
