Project Manager – Infrastructure

Overview

As a Project Manager in our infrastructure portfolio, you will drive delivery of high-profile programmes across Aviation, Roads, Rail, and Utilities. You will work with cross-functional client teams to meet objectives, manage contracts, and oversee financials, risk, and HSE. Your role supports senior stakeholders and builds trusted advisor relationships to ensure successful outcomes. Responsibilities

• Apply project management principles across the project lifecycle to deliver client objectives
• Manage contracts, procurement, and financial controls for projects
• Provide leadership and teamwork within project teams; coordinate multiple work streams
• Oversee health, safety, quality and environmental management on projects
• Engage stakeholders and build long-term, trusted client relationships
• Plan, communicate, and organise to manage senior client interfaces and multiple streams

Key requirements

• Experience of infrastructure project management and/or programme management across the project lifecycle
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with diverse client groups
• Problem solving, analytical and numerical abilities to shape complex problems into solutions
• Drive and commitment to solutions, able to work under pressure and motivate others
• Planning, communication and organisational skills to manage several streams and senior client communications
• Ability to lead, manage and develop project teams within larger programmes
• Creative, curious and growth mindset
• Proficiency with procurement and contract management, familiarity with NEC contracts (beneficial)
• Experience of managing contractors, consultants and advisors on infrastructure projects (beneficial)
• Familiarity with public sector organisations or arm’s length bodies (beneficial)
• Project management certification (APM/PRINCE2/MSP) or NEC accreditations (beneficial)
