Civil Engineer

Overview

As a Civil Engineer at HDR, you will help design and support resilient, sustainable infrastructure across diverse projects. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering designs and technical reports
• Undertake site assessments, feasibility studies, and planning support
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage to produce drawings and models
• Coordinate with other disciplines, consultants, and contractors
• Ensure work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and safety guidelines
• Support project managers and senior engineers to deliver on time and on budget

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Be a member of ICE or IStructE and working towards professional membership
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
