Responsibilities

• Advise on complex and high-value construction disputes for developers, contractors, consultants, insurers, public sector bodies, and commercial clients
• Lead and develop the construction team, mentoring junior lawyers
• Manage and grow client relationships and contribute to business development
• Handle disputes across adjudications, arbitrations, and court proceedings
• Shape strategy and contribute to the growth and expansion of the practice
• Promote strategic risk management and dispute avoidance for clients
• Support clients through all stages of large construction and infrastructure projects

Key requirements

• Scottish-qualified Solicitor
• strong reputation in contentious construction
• leadership or readiness for Partner/Legal Director level
