Overview
In this role you support large-scale infrastructure and master-planning projects for private developers, shaping cost consultancy services from feasibility to completion. You will supervise cost teams, strengthen client relationships, and drive value through cost planning and procurement. The role sits within a growing, collaborative practice delivering complex schemes with modern methods of construction. You will work across feasibility to completion on high-profile projects, contributing to the firm’s reputation and growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Cost Managers across projects
- Develop existing clients and network to win new business
- Oversee pre-contract and post-contract cost consultancy services
- Perform cost control, cost planning, estimates and procurement
- Negotiate contracts and prepare procurement documents
- Engage supply chain and manage budget reconciliations
- Prepare cost reports and structure cost data for the business
- Liaise with clients and ensure QA/compliance
- Champion technology to enhance service delivery and efficiency
Key requirements
- 8+ years in Cost Management, Cost Consultancy or Quantity Surveying
- Experience on largescale infrastructure and master planning schemes
- Experience leading commercial management from feasibility to final accounts
- MRICS is essential
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience with private sector clients
- Proficiency in cost planning, cost control, reporting and procurement
- MMC or sustainability interest advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
