Overview

In this role you will lead IT bid activities to support transport tender submissions, ensuring technology inputs align with strategy and client requirements. You will bridge Digital & Technology product teams, bid teams, suppliers and operations to craft compelling narratives and product visions. You’ll map the technology roadmap, manage supplier relationships, and model costs to drive winning bids. You work across cross-functional teams to push bids forward, contributing to a transformation-focused programme. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape modernisation in a multinational transport context.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technology inputs from Product Managers and platform teams to build IT responses for transport tender bids
  • Gather and share information for RFIs and RFPs
  • Create narrative and product vision for bids and build the overall submission story
  • Understand the technological roadmap, projections and backlog
  • Own and manage supplier relationships from a bid perspective
  • Model costs for supplier quotes and negotiate pricing with procurement/finance support
  • Advance bids through effective supplier engagement

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in bidding or IT Bid Management within a transport setting
  • Liaising with multiple Product Managers
  • Strong technological understanding
  • Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with both white-collar and blue-collar associates
