Overview

In this Senior Software Engineer role, you will strengthen Wise’s Account Integrity team to protect customer accounts from financial crime and enable scalable fraud prevention. You’ll own end-to-end initiatives, shaping controls and detection systems for secure, compliant money movement. The role blends backend and frontend work to raise automation, speed product delivery, and safeguard users’ funds. Responsibilities

• Build and refine critical controls to prevent account takeovers
• Drive backend and frontend development for crime prevention and detection systems
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects with measurable security impact
• Enhance automation and reliability to accelerate product growth and secure customer funds
• Contribute to a world-class money transfer product through robust infrastructure

Key requirements
