Responsibilities

• Procurement and contract strategy for projects
• Drafting and negotiating building contracts (JCT/NEC)
• Development agreements and development management agreements
• Pre-construction services agreements and letters of intent
• Professional appointments for consultants and project teams
• Collateral warranties and third-party rights documentation
• Performance bonds, guarantees and security documentation
• Construction aspects of real estate finance transactions
• Development and regeneration projects
• Risk management and dispute avoidance throughout project lifecycles

Key requirements

• NQ – 5 years’ PQE (England & Wales) in non-contentious construction
• Experience drafting and negotiating construction documentation
• Strong commercial awareness and interest in real estate and development sectors
• Excellent communication and client management skills
