Investment Banking Technology, Senior Associate

Overview

In this role you will support Citi’s Technology Investment Banking franchise by advising tech clients on mergers, acquisitions and capital raising. You will work with senior bankers to identify opportunities, lead transaction execution, and mentor analysts. You will analyze markets and company performance to generate ideas and craft financial pitches. The position offers impact by helping expand the tech franchise and shaping strategic outcomes for clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships and identify new business opportunities
• Lead day-to-day transaction execution across M&A and strategic advisory assignments
• Monitor industry trends and company performance to support client dialogue
• Leverage experience to enhance M&A execution and capital raising
• Create and draft complex financial models, valuation work, and marketing materials
• Conduct economic/financial research on industry and market trends
• Mentor analysts and manage information flow
• Contribute to building Citi’s franchise

Key requirements

• Experience in investment banking, private equity or related fields
• Strong interest to work with technology companies
• Experience evaluating corporate transactions and structures
• Strong financial modelling skills and valuation analysis
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Proven problem solving and organizational abilities
• Experience assisting with client development
