Finance Analyst

Overview

As a Financial Analyst at Greencore, you will provide analysis and insight to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance in manufacturing. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to monitor KPIs, costings, and monthly reporting, enabling informed decision making. This role sits within Finance during a period of transformation through the MBE programme, helping scale and optimise financial processes. You will be empowered to challenge assumptions, communicate findings clearly, and influence cross-functional decisions to drive value.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly flash and weekly P&L and month-end close within agreed timescales
• Report and communicate key performance indicators to drive positive change
• Input into costings accurately and on time
• Build cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders
• Support quarterly budget forecasts and identify key drivers for strategic decision making
• Prepare and monitor monthly reports and resolve queries promptly
• Validate and monitor excellence initiatives for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting
• Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to aid interpretation and decision making

Key requirements

• Previous management accounts experience essential
• Ideally working towards an accountancy qualification
• Finance experience in Logistics or FMCG/Manufacturing is a benefit but not essential
• Numerate and literate
• Ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders
