Leisure Operations Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the daily operation of a busy leisure facility to deliver a safe, welcoming and high-quality experience. You will support community wellbeing, drive growth and implement improvements through strong leadership and operational standards. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service, shaping accessible leisure for the local community. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Support the General Manager in driving commercial growth, performance targets and operational efficiency
• Foster a strong health and safety culture with regulatory and policy compliance
• Lead, motivate and develop Duty Manager teams to enable career growth
• Monitor performance using data and KPIs to identify improvements and solutions
• Build relationships with customers, stakeholders and the community to support service excellence and growth

Key requirements

• Experience in facilities management or a similar operational leadership role
• Strong leadership to engage, motivate and develop high-performing teams
• Proactive health and safety mindset with understanding of compliance
• Ability to analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement
