Overview

As a Senior CRA in ICON’s Full-Service team, you will oversee clinical trial activities to ensure protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and data integrity. You will work with cross-functional teams to support trial execution and monitor site performance across the study lifecycle. Your role includes training site staff, managing relationships with site personnel, and driving compliant trial operations. This position offers the chance to influence the quality and success of clinical development within a global, inclusive culture that values excellence. You will travel within the UK to support multi-site trials and ensure timely data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites for protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and GCP standards
• Conduct site visits to assess performance, resolve issues, and support trial success
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely and accurate data collection and reporting
• Provide training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs to uphold high trial conduct standards
• Build and maintain effective relationships with site personnel and stakeholders to facilitate operations

Key requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences, nursing, or medicine
• Extensive CRA experience with strong understanding of trial processes and regulations
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management
• Proficiency in relevant clinical trial software and tools
• Ability to travel domestically across the UK (approx. 6–8 days per month)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence in a complex environment
