Responsibilities
- Lead design development from concept to construction on residential, commercial, education, industrial and logistics schemes
- Direct and review technical output, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Act as primary client and architect liaison to secure project alignment and smooth sign-off
- Drive digital delivery through integrated modelling and coordination within workflows
- Shape office growth and mentor junior staff with a pathway to senior leadership
- Support project delivery with a hands-on engineering approach and quality control
- Collaborate with directors and multidisciplinary teams to maintain technical excellence
Key requirements
- Chartered or near-chartered structural engineer
- Proven experience leading design from concept through site
- Strong client and architect liaison capabilities
- Ability to manage technical output and ensure quality across projects
