Cyber Risk Solutions Advisor

Overview

In this role you help enterprise customers reduce cyber risk by analyzing vulnerability data, researching threats, and guiding remediation. You will work within the Risk Operations Center to translate threat intel into actionable insights for cross-functional teams. You’ll produce reports and dashboards to communicate trends and support risk-based prioritization, while onboarding new environments and refining service processes. This is a hands-on advisor role that drives measurable risk reductions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Enable continuous monitoring and analysis of vulnerability and asset risk data using the Qualys TruRisk Platform
• Research threat intelligence, vulnerabilities, and exploits to assess relevance and impact
• Create reports, dashboards, and executive briefings on risk trends and priorities
• Track remediation progress and provide actionable recommendations to accelerate risk reduction
• Participate in operational cadence calls, posture reviews, and ad-hoc investigations
• Identify emerging issues across accounts and escalate high-risk findings to senior advisors and threat research teams
• Contribute to knowledge bases, playbooks, and service process improvements
• Support onboarding of new customer environments into the workflow

Key requirements

• 2–4 years of cybersecurity, IT risk, or threat analysis experience
• Foundational knowledge of vulnerability management, CVEs, CVSS, and exploitability metrics
• Strong data analysis and ability to work with complex datasets
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls)
• Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting to stakeholders
• Experience with at least one vulnerability management or cyber threat exposure platform
