Overview

You will install smart meters in domestic properties and provide a professional, safety‑minded service as part of a nationwide engineering team. The role offers strong earning potential, clear progression, and a stable, customer‑focused environment. You’ll work within industry standards to ensure compliant installations while representing Orion. This position blends hands‑on technical work with excellent service delivery in a supportive company culture.

Pay / Benefits

• Salary package £45,000 per annum
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided
• KPI bonus £150 per month
• Attendance bonus £150 per month
• Optional weekend work available

Responsibilities

• Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties
• Deliver a professional, customer‑focused service
• Ensure all work meets industry safety and compliance standards
• Represent Orion as part of a nationwide engineering team

Key requirements

• Smart Meter Engineering qualification or diploma
• CMA1 or CCN1 & MET1
• MOCOPA certification (or completed during induction)
• Full UK driving licence
• Clean DBS check (recent within 3 months preferred)
• EUSR card (advantageous, not essential)
