Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to senior executives across central government, local government, healthcare, education, defence, and other public sector bodies
• Shape and deliver technology and digital strategies aligned to organisation goals such as growth, efficiency, resilience, citizen experience, and innovation
• Provide technology foresight and market intelligence grounded in Gartner’s research, benchmarks, and best practices
• Lead complex engagements across: enterprise IT and digital strategies, operating models, cloud and applications modernization, enterprise architecture and governance, digital government transformation, programme assurance and value realisation
• Support clients to achieve measurable outcomes including value realisation, cost optimisation, and execution confidence
• Advise on IT governance design, organisational structures, and sourcing strategies across diverse environments
• Provide independent challenge and assurance at key programme and investment decision points
• Support major transformation initiatives through benefits tracking, delivery assurance, and risk management

Key requirements

• Experience leading client engagements end to end in a consulting, advisory, or public sector transformation context
• Ability to engage with senior executive stakeholders in complex organisations
• Strong grounding in management consulting, technology strategy, and transformation
• Knowledge in areas such as CIO advisory, enterprise IT strategy, digital government transformation, and cloud transformation
• Experience with data, analytics, AI strategy, value realisation, or programme assurance
• Sourcing, vendor management, and contract optimisation capabilities
