Life Sciences Change & Transformation – Senior Manager

Overview

In this senior, client-facing role you will lead the people and organisational dimensions of complex Life Sciences transformation programmes, translating technology, data, AI and process changes into sustainable outcomes. You’ll own end-to-end change workstreams, shape strategies, and drive adoption through readiness, engagement and leadership alignment. The role combines hands-on delivery with senior stakeholder advisory, contributing to growth of client accounts and BIP’s Life Sciences capabilities. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of change, technology and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end change workstreams within complex Life Sciences transformation programmes, owning scope, approach, plans, quality and outcomes
• Develop pragmatic change strategies and roadmaps aligned to business objectives and impacted people
• Bring structure to ambiguity by identifying priorities and interventions to sustain momentum
• Adapt established change methods to client context with practical judgement
• Lead change impact and stakeholder assessments across people, process, technology and data
• Define readiness and adoption measures and use insights to target interventions
• Design integrated plans for stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, communications, capability building, training and business readiness
• Identify adoption risks and work with client teams to resolve barriers and embed new ways of working
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and act as adviser on change and transformation
• Plan and facilitate leadership sessions, workshops and decision meetings
• Communicate complex issues clearly and tailor messages to audiences
• Manage expectations, risks and dependencies across client teams and delivery partners
• Lead change approach for technology, data and AI-enabled transformation and ensure solution is usable and embedded
• Collaborate with product, technology, data, process and programme teams to ensure adoption
• Support responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools with governance, skills and leadership considerations
• Plan and manage high-quality consulting deliverables within pace and commercial constraints
• Lead, coach and quality-assure consultants and support their development
• Contribute to reusable methods, case studies and communities of practice for Life Sciences and Change & Transformation
• Identify opportunities to extend BIP’s impact with existing clients and support long-term relationships
• Contribute to bids, proposals and account planning with compelling change propositions
• Provide external insight and Life Sciences market awareness to support thought leadership
• Senior Manager level: take stronger role in opportunity shaping, client relationships, and leadership of larger or multiple workstreams

Key requirements

• Strong Life Sciences consulting experience
• Proven track record of independently leading complex change and transformation workstreams
• Experience delivering technology, data or AI-enabled transformation in Life Sciences
• Strong capability in change impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, readiness, communications, training and adoption
• Understanding of how people, process, technology and data integrate to deliver outcomes
• Excellent senior stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills
• Delivery mindset with ability to create structure in ambiguous environments
• Experience contributing to business development, bids, proposals or account growth
