Scrum Master

Overview

In this role you will drive agile delivery as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach for a fintech payments-focused team at a London-based, LSE-listed firm. You will support one or more development squads, align with product vision, and push for greater agile productivity. The position offers autonomy from day one and exposure to a high-profile, CTO-engaged environment with a large-scale sprint planning initiative. You’ll help shape agile practices across multiple business areas and contribute to architecture-level discussions.

Responsibilities

• Set up a deliverable development programme and oversee progress
• Lead agile planning and delivery as Scrum Master to improve efficiency
• Coordinate delivery within time, budget, and quality constraints
• Manage impact of changing priorities and act as process owner for planning and delivery
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure shared product vision with developers
• Work across multiple business areas and assume multiple roles with autonomy
• Plan the first large business sprint over the next month

Key requirements

• Degree from an established University
• Scrum Master Certification
• Exposure to .NET development, ideally Web Services
• Previous experience as Scrum Master with coaching preferred
• Experience with Scrum and Kanban
• Experience with single or multiple teams and independent products
• Strong knowledge of the SDLC
• Good communicators across stakeholders
• JIRA and Confluence skills
