Education NQ Solicitor

Overview

In this role you will join a top Legal 500 practice’s Education team in Essex as a Newly Qualified solicitor (roughly up to 1 year PQE). You will advise educational institutions on employment law matters, covering both contentious and non-contentious work, helping to shape a high-quality client service. The role offers progression, support to develop your own caseload, and flexible working options including potential home working. You will work with notable education clients, contributing to the firm’s education sector focus and growth.

Responsibilities

• Advise educational institutions on employment law matters (contentious and non-contentious)
• Develop and manage own caseload
• Deliver high-quality work supporting clients in the education sector
• Collaborate with a specialist Education team to support client needs
• Contribute to client relationships and service delivery within the education sector

Key requirements

• NQ+ solicitor (up to ~1 year PQE)
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR
• Experience advising educational institutions (preferably in both contentious and non-contentious matters)
