Civil Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

In this role you join a growing civil engineering design team in London to develop your technical skills across highways, drainage and infrastructure. You will learn through structured training and mentoring, working on real projects under experienced engineers who support your career progression. You’ll contribute to the delivery of design schemes and reports while collaborating with clients and wider design teams. Responsibilities

• Support the design of highway and drainage schemes for residential, commercial and industrial developments
• Assist with preparation of technical reports, drawings and design documentation
• Attend design team meetings and support project discussions
• Liaise with clients, consultants and wider design teams
• Assist with management of project deliverables and deadlines
• Maintain accurate project records and time management information
• Support senior engineers with day-to-day project activities

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Interest in pursuing civil infrastructure design career
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Proactive and eager to learn
• Attention to detail and quality-focused
• 2+ years of experience in civil engineering consultancy
• Knowledge of highways or drainage design principles
• Familiarity with Civil 3D, AutoCAD or InfoDrainage
• Working towards ICE professional development
