Overview

As Marketing Communications Manager you will shape global marketing narratives and brand strategy to support growth. You will lead cross-functional campaigns across digital, events, and traditional channels, aligning with sales, product, and leadership teams. You will leverage analytics and customer insights to drive data-backed decisions and optimise performance. You will mentor a global team, manage budgets, and drive digital marketing excellence including AI-enabled initiatives. This role offers a strategic impact across international markets within Cummins’ communications ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global marketing communications and brand strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Plan, deliver, and optimise integrated multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, email, events, and traditional channels
  • Lead brand strategy, proposition development, and brand protection to resonate with target audiences
  • Foster partnerships with sales, product, communications, and leadership to ensure campaign alignment and execution
  • Utilise marketing analytics, performance data, and customer insights to inform decisions and opportunities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global team, driving engagement and capability growth
  • Manage budgets, financial controls, risks, and project prioritisation to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
  • Provide support for internal communications planning and execution
  • Drive digital marketing excellence, explore AI-enabled marketing solutions, and optimise the marketing technology stack

Key requirements

  • Significant experience in marketing communications, brand management, or digital marketing in a B2B and global environment
  • Experience managing teams, including coaching, performance management, and career development
  • Product marketing experience and experience leading geographically distributed teams (highly preferred)
  • Proven success in managing budgets, agency or supplier relationships, and complex cross-functional projects
  • Global marketing experience with understanding of international markets, customer segments, and go-to-market strategies
  • Strong strategic marketing communications experience with ability to develop and implement global campaigns
  • Digital marketing expertise with marketing technology platforms, analytics tools, and emerging technologies such as AI
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and talent development skills across multiple locations
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced settings
