Overview
In this role you will support a national, top-tier law firm’s clean energy construction practice from Leeds. You will handle a range of transactional matters across battery storage, EPC, O&M and related agreements, collaborating with a cross-office team and a dedicated clean energy PSL. The position offers a clear progression path within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary sector group. You will contribute to growing a robust clean energy portfolio and impact the firm’s energy transition work.

Responsibilities
- Handle BESS supply agreements with global manufacturers
- Draft and negotiate EPC contracts
- Manage O&M and long-term service agreements (LTSAs)
- Negotiate component warranties and other project documents
- Support clean energy project development, acquisitions, and disposals
- Collaborate with colleagues across UK offices and with the dedicated Clean Energy PSL
Key requirements
- Minimum around 4 years of experience in construction, commercial, or project work in the clean energy sector
- Strong transactional expertise preferred
- Experience in battery storage, solar, wind, hydro, or related energy technologies is advantageous
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-office environment
