Index Research Analyst

Overview

As an Index Research Analyst, you will support index rebalancing work within a collaborative trading and research team. You’ll focus on US, EMEA, and Asia indices, turning company reports and shareholding data into predictions of index events. You will identify signals and generate ideas to inform the team’s strategy and help shape index methodologies. This role offers exposure to cross-regional indices and data-driven decision making in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with trading and research teams on US, EMEA and Asia indices
• Conduct primary research from company reports and shareholding data to predict index events
• Identify signals and generate ideas to influence the team strategy
• Interpret and apply index methodologies

Key requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as a Researcher or Quantitative Researcher in an index rebalancing environment
• Proven track record with filings and key information documents on global companies
• Understanding of equity index methodologies
• Strong research and programming skills
• Experience with Excel, Python and SQL
