Enterprise Services Principal Administrator, Cloud

Overview

In this role you will drive a cloud-enabled modernization while maintaining on-prem data centres. You will lead the IT organisation’s cloud adoption and shape multi-year infrastructure roadmaps that align with core business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks, costs, and benefits of future solutions and maintain best-practice infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Foster collaboration across IT teams
• Develop and maintain current and future infrastructure landscapes
• Create 3–5 year infrastructure roadmaps
• Lead cloud adoption strategy across the IT organisation
• Advise on future infrastructure solutions with risk, cost, and benefit analysis
• Maintain knowledge of IT industry best practices and emerging technologies
• Identify infrastructure risks and propose alternatives
• Ensure integrity of the infrastructure architecture

Key requirements

• IaC experience with Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Kubernetes, Entra, AD, and Azure infrastructure
• Clear leadership in infrastructure transformation with focus on delivery and optimisation
• Hands-on capability to educate teams and accelerate BAU and delivery programs
• Azure Networking experience (vWAN, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute) and Azure Policy Governance
• Adept in Azure FinOps / cost optimisation
• Strong automation/orchestration knowledge (Ansible, Terraform, GitLab)
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft technologies, Ubuntu, Red Hat, VMWare VCF, data centre, enterprise networking, WAN/LAN/WLAN, routing, firewall, IDS/IPS, WAN optimisation, ZTNA services, load balancing
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security, PAM, IAM, and cloud authentication
