Account Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the delivery of facilities management services across a multi-site portfolio in the Yorkshire region, acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders. You will drive performance, compliance, and high service standards while identifying opportunities for improvement and growth. You work closely with operational teams to meet contractual commitments and enhance customer satisfaction. This position offers a chance to shape service delivery in a commercially focused FM environment and contribute to ongoing improvement and retention initiatives. You will be central to delivering value through strong relationships and proactive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of FM services across a multi-site portfolio
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers
• Ensure KPIs, SLAs and performance targets are met
• Manage budgets and financial performance for the account
• Drive service excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead and support operational teams with a high-performance culture
• Monitor Health & Safety, statutory and company compliance
• Oversee subcontractor performance and contract compliance
• Produce and present operational and performance reports
• Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and add value
• Support business retention and growth activities as required

Key requirements

• Experience managing FM contracts, accounts or large service delivery operations
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Commercial awareness with budget and financial performance experience
• Excellent leadership and people management capabilities
• Strong understanding of KPI and SLA management
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance in FM environments
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
