Staff Software Engineer, Android Growth Systems and App Foundations

Overview

In this role you will provide technical leadership on high-impact projects and guide a distributed engineering team. You will align cross-team goals, outcomes, and timelines while managing priorities and deliverables. You will design, build, test, deploy, and maintain large-scale software solutions with a focus on Android platforms. This position offers the chance to shape technical direction within a fast-paced, matrixed environment and contribute to Google’s next-generation infrastructure.

Key requirements

• 8 years of software development experience
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products
• 5 years of Android application development
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
