Overview

As Senior Lecturer, you will teach and develop the Health and Social Care Management programme with a focus on health analytics, public health and public health management. You will work within a collaborative team to deliver inclusive, evidence-informed teaching and to enhance curriculum, assessment, and quality assurance. You will support curriculum planning, student progression and employability, while engaging with employers and professional networks. You will pursue research activity to inform teaching and contribute to the wider academic community. Responsibilities

• Deliver and develop teaching across the Health and Social Care Management programme, with emphasis on health analytics, public health and public health management
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, quality assurance and ongoing enhancement of programme delivery
• Support academic coordination, programme planning, and improvement of student engagement, progression, attainment and graduate employability
• Engage in research and scholarly activity; mentor colleagues as appropriate
• Build productive relationships with employers, practitioners and professional networks
• Contribute to the wider academic community and initiatives that strengthen student experience and professional relevance of the programme

Key requirements

• Master’s degree in Health and Social Care Management, Public Health, Healthcare Management or related discipline
• Recent experience of teaching in higher education
• Expertise to teach health analytics, public health and/or evidence-based healthcare modules
• Strong understanding of contemporary health and social care practice
• Commitment to inclusive, engaging and digitally informed teaching
• Experience in curriculum development, assessment and academic quality assurance
• Track record of research or scholarly activity informing teaching
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills; ability to support colleagues and contribute to programme development
• Experience working with employers, professional bodies or community partners (advantage)
