Senior IT Support Engineer II

Overview

In this role you’ll support Box’s global end-user community by resolving a wide range of IT issues and enabling productive work across offices worldwide. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts, mentor peers, and help shape IT services to scale with a fast-growing, AI-enabled environment. You’ll work closely with Facilities, Engineering, and Security to maintain seamless technology experiences. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support mobile, desktop, audio/video, and peripherals for end users
• Manage procurement, assets, and software inventory
• Collaborate across departments (Facilities, Sales, Engineering, Information Security, Enterprise Team) to align IT services
• Coordinate IT communications between headquarters and remote offices
• Perform system imaging, configure applications, and enforce security policies
• Provide daily onsite office support

Key requirements

• 5+ years in an IT Support role
• Windows and OSX operating systems knowledge
• Lenovo and Apple hardware knowledge
• Foundational networking concepts
• Okta and IAM concepts (SSO, MFA, user permissions)
• Experience documenting systems and knowledge articles
• Experience with voice/video conferencing tools (Google, Zoom, Slack a plus)
• Interest in using AI and automation to improve IT support and user experience
• Experience supporting New Hire Onboarding (device deployment and IT orientation)
