Responsibilities
- Synthesize audience, cultural, competitive, market, and brand-performance signals into actionable insights and opportunities
- Define Snapchat’s role for priority audiences and cultural moments
- Develop distinctive points of view aligning business goals with audience needs
- Lead strategic briefs and guide creative thinking across global brand platforms and campaigns
- Partner with Creative, Brand Marketing, Insights, and agencies to ground work in strategy and cultural relevance
- Provide strategic guidance during creative development to protect the core intent
- Contribute to global brand platforms, narratives, toolkits, and creative guidance
- Translate brand strategy into practical principles for markets and partners
- Identify patterns and learnings to strengthen multiple briefs and initiatives
- Collaborate with Global Brand, regional teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and local relevance
- Turn audience, cultural, and campaign effectiveness signals into recommendations for future strategy and creative development
- Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous strategic learning within Global Brand
Key requirements
- 5+ years of experience in brand, creative, cultural, or marketing strategy-related fields
- Experience developing strategic frameworks, briefs, brand narratives, campaigns, or foundational work
- Experience using insights to shape strategy across audiences, culture, or brand performance
- Experience collaborating with creative teams, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders on high-visibility work
- Experience working across multiple markets or audiences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills
- Curiosity and cultural instincts about people, creativity, technology, and culture
