Overview

In this role you will support the Global Institutional Accounting team to deliver client outcomes and strengthen the GIA operating model. You’ll act as a liaison for regulatory considerations, enhance controls, and drive process improvement through standardisation and automation. You’ll grow product knowledge, coach teammates, and contribute to cross-functional change delivery. This is a chance to impact client delivery and risk management within a global financial services leader.

Responsibilities

  • Support workstreams and initiatives to deliver client outcomes and evolve the GIA operating model
  • Serve as a point of contact for regulatory matters and ensure requirements are embedded by design
  • Review and strengthen the control framework; participate in audit, risk, and control reviews
  • Review and update departmental policies and procedures for compliant output
  • Drive standardisation, efficiency, and automation across processes
  • Develop knowledge of client financial products, Bank digital tools, internal processes, and market developments
  • Coach, train, onboard, and share knowledge to build team capability
  • Promote collaboration and advocate innovative solutions to support effective change delivery

Key requirements

  • Financial industry knowledge preferred but not essential
  • Experience supporting, coaching, or training colleagues preferred
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in changing environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building across internal teams
  • Strong analytical skills to extract, interpret, and evaluate data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills; experience with AI, automation, or digital tools to improve processes desirable
