Managing Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role you lead a team of Quantity Surveyors on large water and wastewater capital projects, ensuring accurate forecasts and robust procurement. You’ll mentor apprentices and streamline reporting to enable value-adding, risk-reducing work. You contribute to resilient water infrastructure while upholding safety and client-focused service. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors delivering projects 5–30m in value
• Ensure accurate internal/external reports and forecasted VOWD targets
• Implement robust procurement trackers and manage high-value procurements
• Mentor and support apprentices and assistant Quantity Surveyors
• Review and streamline reporting processes to enable value adding and risk reduction

Key requirements

• Degree qualified and professional membership, or working towards
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team across a portfolio of projects
• Experience in construction commercial environment and procurement
• Strong reporting, forecasting and cost-control capabilities
