Overview
In this Private Credit role within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, you help structure and monitor corporate debt investments across a range of credit products. You will work on deal-driven projects within a collaborative, meritocratic team that serves diverse clients globally. Responsibilities
- Originating investment ideas across Credit products via early engagement with sponsors and management
- Conducting due diligence and business analysis to refine investment theses
- Participating in structuring, negotiating, and documenting investments
- Communicating and defending theses to internal stakeholders and committees
- Monitoring existing investments in the portfolio
- Building relationships with sponsors, management teams and internal stakeholders
Key requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in Investment Banking and Private Credit/Direct Lending
- Strong quantitative, financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion for investing with a focus on credit / structured products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible and creative mindset; ability to analyze diverse industries
- Ability to self-direct, evaluate, and form independent judgments
