Senior & Principal Civil Engineers

Overview

In this role you will provide technical leadership for civil detailing packages in complex nuclear projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is met and interfaces are well managed. You’ll guide reinforcement detailing, 3D modelling, and supplier coordination, while upholding quality and configuration management. Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for assigned civil detailing packages
• Review reinforcement models against design intent and project requirements
• Coordinate technical interfaces between engineering teams and detailing suppliers
• Lead reviews of concrete, reinforcement and embedded item models
• Manage technical queries and open points through closure
• Oversee supplier performance, quality and technical delivery activities
• Resolve multidisciplinary interface issues affecting detailing and construction delivery
• Maintain configuration management and quality assurance throughout project delivery
• Monitor technical deliverables against project schedules and standards
• Support design replication principles across complex civil engineering packages

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Strong experience with reinforced concrete structures and detailing activities
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and technical interfaces
• Strong understanding of engineering design and project delivery processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience overseeing contractor or supplier technical deliverables
• Ability to resolve complex technical engineering issues independently
• Knowledge of configuration management and quality assurance processes
• Familiarity with 3D modelling and engineering detailing environments
