As a Private Client Solicitor in Swansea, you will handle a varied caseload across wills, LPAs, probate, trusts and tax planning with direct client contact from day one. Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied private client caseload with direct client contact
  • Draft wills, codicils and letters of wishes
  • Prepare LPAs and handle Court of Protection applications
  • Estate administration, probate applications and inheritance tax reporting
  • Trust creation and administration, including related tax considerations
  • Lifetime and succession planning, including IHT and CGT
  • Advise on domicile, residence and cross-border succession issues
  • Support business development, seminars, training, and article production

Key requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2+ years’ PQE in Private Client
  • Newly qualified candidates with strong private client seat or paralegal experience may apply
  • Solid experience in wills, probate and LPAs; trusts and tax exposure advantageous
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Empathetic, professional client manner with strong communication skills
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Team-focused and committed to high client care standards
  • STEP or Lifetime Lawyer accreditation or willingness to pursue it
