NEC Supervisor – Sheffield

Overview

In this role you will provide NEC-based supervision for large-scale construction/manufacturing programmes in Sheffield, ensuring compliance with contract standards and quality. You will work closely with project leads and cross-functional teams to identify issues early, manage defects, and maintain rigorous project records. Your on-site presence and independent scrutiny will support delivery within a complex programme. This position offers impact through enforcing standards and facilitating smooth progress within a renowned professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NEC Supervisor services as defined in the NEC3 ECC for the Recap Programme, reporting to Project Leads
• Maintain a regular on-site presence to verify materials and standards
• Identify issues early and help prevent them from occurring
• Manage any defects that arise and witness testing
• Attend progress meetings and issue communications per contract requirements
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and highlight observed issues
• Keep contemporary records of all observations

Key requirements

• NEC Supervisor or NEC Project Manager Accreditation
• Relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification
• Relevant construction experience and knowledge of construction methods
• Commitment to service excellence and delivering quality standards
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large project team
• Proficiency with digital systems to access project information and record defects
• NEC4 ECC knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
