Markets Operational Risk Management – Vice President

Overview

As a Vice President in the Europe, Middle East and Africa CIB Markets ORM team, you help embed the CCOR framework to oversee market risks across the three lines of defense. You collaborate with Compliance, Audit, and Markets Control Functions to assess risks and test control effectiveness, driving improvements in risk processes. You stay informed on regulatory changes to identify proactive mitigations and lead internal process enhancements. This role offers an opportunity to shape risk governance in a global, diverse environment and support first-class business in a first-class way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of CIB Markets in collaboration with Compliance, Audit and Markets Control Functions under the CCOR framework
• Assess Key and Emerging Risks for Global Markets businesses
• Evaluate operational risks and controls and drive remediation with the first line of defense
• Collaborate with the Testing Centre of Excellence to test control effectiveness
• Lead internal process re-engineering and propose enhancements to risk processes
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry news to improve risk identification and mitigation

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience in Markets, Operations, Risk or Compliance
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills and a successful track record
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment
