Dispute Resolution Partner

Overview

In this role you will drive growth of the Scottish office as part of a respected UK law firm’s dispute resolution team. You will handle high‑level commercial litigation matters and real estate and financial disputes, collaborating with a cross‑border UK practice. The position offers Edinburgh-based, hybrid working and a clear path toward Partner or senior leadership for a strong rainmaker with client management skills. You will shape the local offering while contributing to the firm’s national reputation and client service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Scottish office’s dispute resolution practice across Commercial Contract Disputes, Real Estate Litigation and Financial Disputes
• Manage and grow a client portfolio, with potential portable clients for Partner level
• Provide high‑level client relationship management and strategic counsel
• Collaborate with the UK Dispute Resolution team to deliver seamless cross‑border services
• Support the growth of the Scottish office and contribute to market expansion
• Participate in business development and client acquisition initiatives

Key requirements

• Strong background in commercial litigation / dispute resolution
• At Partner level, portable client base is an advantage but not essential
• Excellent client management skills
• Ambition to join and grow a new office
