Overview

As Digital Experience Manager at Dorchester Collection, you will own the digital estate across our luxury portfolio to deliver a seamless, conversion-focused guest experience. You will shape the website strategy, SEO, CRO, and e-commerce tactics in collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold our brand excellence. The role blends technology, content, and performance marketing to drive commercial outcomes while supporting our Academy-driven development culture. You will lead a small team and partner with hotels to maintain brand alignment and high-quality digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the digital estate and conversion journey across Dorchester Collection properties and collections
  • Define and execute website strategy balancing brand experience with commercial performance
  • Own SEO strategy including technical SEO, content optimisation, and search visibility (traditional and AI-driven)
  • Manage the booking engine experience and conversion rate optimisation with developers, IT, and third-party partners
  • Oversee e-shop strategy and digital retail experience
  • Lead CMS governance: templates, standards, publishing workflows, and content architecture
  • Own the development roadmap: prioritise enhancements, manage technical debt, and coordinate with developers and agencies
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, site speed, accessibility, and technical performance
  • Define measurement frameworks for digital experience (conversion funnels, UX metrics, engagement)
  • Partner with hotel marketing teams to ensure on-brand, optimised property-level content
  • Lead and guide the Digital Marketing Executive to ensure high-quality delivery and growth

Key requirements

  • Previous digital experience in luxury hospitality, travel, or premium consumer brands
  • End-to-end website strategy ownership: roadmap, development partners, CMS governance, commercial performance
  • Deep understanding of SEO, AEO, and GEO with measurable organic growth, plus CRO and UX best practices
  • Experience managing booking engines, digital commerce funnels, and third-party development partners
  • Familiarity with schema markup, Core Web Vitals, accessibility standards, and CMS platforms (Umbraco, WordPress, or equivalent)
  • Data-literate and able to translate analytics into decisions across multiple properties or markets
  • Experience directly line managing at least one digital or operations executive; ability to delegate and develop teams
  • Comfort with dotted-line relationships with hotel marketing teams and external partners
  • High attention to detail and a quality-first mindset for guest-facing digital experiences
  • Degree in digital, marketing, computer science, or related professional experience
