Principal Technical Program Manager & Workstream Lead – Cloud Strategic Delivery – Executive Director

Overview

In this role you lead governance and reporting across multi-cloud programs to support J.P. Morgan’s cloud strategy. You will liaise with senior stakeholders to align initiatives with strategic goals and drive change in ambiguous environments. You apply advanced analysis and AI-enabled planning to improve planning, risk synthesis, and executive reporting while ensuring data handling and regulatory compliance. You will shape policies, manage resources and budgets, and foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver value at scale. Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain program governance including standards, processes and policies to ensure alignment with strategy and regulatory requirements
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate planning, risk synthesis, and executive reporting with proper data handling
• Oversee portfolio prioritization, dependency management, and value delivery aligned with strategic objectives
• Coordinate resource allocation across programs to optimize staffing and avoid conflicts
• Standardize methodologies, templates, tools, and best practices across all programs
• Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted governance practices with human review to maintain delivery standards
• Provide consolidated risk and issue visibility at portfolio level with escalation and mitigation guidance
• Ensure quality assurance throughout the program lifecycle and evangelize PMO processes
• Capture lessons learned, facilitate knowledge sharing, and mentor to raise portfolio management maturity
• Implement and maintain fit-for-purpose PMO tooling for efficient program operation
• Lead, coach, and develop the PMO Analyst team to ensure effective support and resource readiness
• Escalate supplier risks promptly and manage supplier performance, compliance, and risk in line with contracts and regulatory requirements
• Monitor supplier risks and issues using the firm’s risk frameworks and engage relevant control bodies

Key requirements

• Formal training or certification on technical program management concepts
• Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions and vendor management
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support PM workflows with validation of outputs and data sensitivity awareness
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans and risks and escalate when uncertain
• Advanced analytical reasoning and problem-solving to break down complex objectives
• Proven leadership in navigating change, dependencies, and high-pressure environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to drive outcomes aligned with firm objectives
