Overview

As a Senior Realtime Software Developer at Brahma DDU, you guide the Realtime Technologies team while remaining hands-on, driving Unreal Engine integration with our proprietary, global pipeline. You will mentor developers, manage project lifecycles, and bridge production and technical needs to enable scalable, production-critical tools. The role blends architecture, tool creation, and cross‑department collaboration to support thousands of artists producing films and commercials. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity at a world‑class studio.

Responsibilities

  • Architectural contribution for Unreal Engine integration with the proprietary pipeline
  • Design and deliver artist-facing tools across disciplines
  • Maintain robust Unreal Engine integration with the global studio pipeline
  • Lead a small agile sub-team, provide code reviews and mentorship
  • Oversee lifecycle of realtime tools from requirements to delivery
  • Act as technical liaison for VFX Supervisors and HODs
  • Collaborate with other Technology groups to embed realtime initiatives
  • Promote best practices in documentation, testing, and CI/CD for production tools

Key requirements

  • Leadership experience leading small technical teams or leads on complex projects
  • Expert Unreal Engine knowledge (C++ and Blueprints) and understanding of engine internals
  • Strong programming experience in C++ and Python on Linux and Windows
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and managing competing priorities
  • Excellent communication of complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive problem solving under production pressure and ambiguity
