Cloud Security Engineer

Overview

As a Cloud Security Engineer in advisory mode, you help clients strengthen cloud security postures through workshops and tailored strategies. You will translate complex security concepts into practical implementations aligned with global standards. You’ll work closely with clients to set security roadmaps and best practices, staying current on trends to drive secure cloud adoption. This role blends advisory skills with hands-on security thinking to enable clients’ critical workloads to be secure and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops to assess and improve customers’ cloud security practices
• Provide expertise on Cloud Security Posture Assessment concepts
• Guide alignment with CIS, OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001
• Craft and deliver tailored security recommendations and practical implementations
• Develop and present customized security strategies and roadmaps
• Collaborate with clients to establish cloud security best practices and compliance goals
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud security trends and technologies

Key requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Cloud Security Posture Assessment and relevant frameworks (CIS, OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Proven ability to apply industry standards to various business workloads
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, apt at conveying complex security ideas to non-experts
• Self-motivated with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently
• Willing to go through Security Clearance process upon hire (paid for by company)
• Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate; CISSP, CISM, or similar cloud security certifications
