About the company:
A market leading business based in the Newry areaare seeking to appoint a Senior Finance Managerto take responsibility for day-to-day oversight of their finance function, managing an established team and reporting to the CFO. With this business going from strength to strength, this represents an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and ambitious finance professional not afraid to get their sleeves rolled up, seeking a long-term opportunity with scope for further progression.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the finance function within a fast-paced environment
- Produce monthly management accounts, reporting packs and commercial analysis
- Deliver insight across margins, labour, waste, yield and operational performance
- Review weekly and monthly P&L performance, identifying risks and opportunities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and balance sheet management
- Partner with operational teams to support performance and profitability
- Prepare financial analysis for capital investment projects
- Drive improvements across reporting, systems, controls and processes
- Ensure compliance with group reporting and audit requirements
- Lead and develop the finance team while supporting wider business growth
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
