As the CQC Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, performance and day-to-day management of the service. Working closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and senior leadership, you will lead the transition from hospital to specialist residential nursing, ensuring the service continues to deliver outstanding, person-centred care throughout the change. This role requires an experienced leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, developing teams, driving continuous improvement and creating an environment where both residents and colleagues can thrive.
- Current NMC registration (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Home Manager within a residential nursing or specialist care setting.
- Demonstrable experience of managing CQC-regulated services with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality standards.
- Experience leading organisational change or service development, ideally including service transitions.
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Strong financial and operational management experience.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care for people with complex neurological needs.
- A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach with the ability to lead confidently through change.
Priory Elm Park Ardleigh, near Colchester, Essex – is a specialist brain injury service based in Ardleigh, near Colchester, Essex. We provide expert neurobehavioral assessment, rehabilitation and specialist care for people with complex neurological needs following an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This is a 17 bed service.
We are entering an exciting new chapter as our service transitions from a hospital setting to a Specialist Residential Nursing Service, designed to meet the increasing demand for high-quality neurorehabilitation and specialist residential care within the local community.
