Senior Power System Planning & Investment Engineer

SSE plc, via SSEN Transmission, is seeking a Senior System Planning and Investment Engineer to focus on power system planning and integration of low-carbon generation into North Scotland’s transmission network.

You will develop, apply transmission network optimisation models using PSSE and DIgSILENT PowerFactory, perform security analyses, and collaborate with planning, operations, and regulators to ensure safe, cost-effective system operation.
